I could not ask for a better day . We nearly missed our train and they stopped it loaded my family in while I paid for our trip . On the way back they let us sit in the front . We went to the cafe after for a nice meal . The shop was lovely with the nice shop keeper . The museum was lovely to with the man telling us a lot of information . You could tell he was proud of it all. The last time I went was 1998 when I was 3 years old and met the man who wrote Thomas . My dad use to go as a kid with my grandad . I could not stop smiling as it was a very sentimental trip for me. Hope to visit again next year !

Well what can I say? Relaxing? Beautiful? Nostalgic? Good value for money? It’s all of those things and much, much more. If ever anyone is holidaying in Tywyn, please do visit, you won’t regret it.

A great stop if you like trains coupled with a big breakfast and cuppa. Remember this is a charity which has been run by volunteers since 1951.

Did steam and scream this Halloween. Just perfect. Kids absolutely loved it. They enjoyed the theatre of it all and loved the ghouls and ghosties and witches and monsters. Children ranged from 2 yrs to 8 yrs and it appealed across the age range. Adults loved it too of course! Food is included and was very nice and served super efficiently with plenty on offer. In addition kids offered extra goodie bags on completion of the walk of terror which were generous and good quality. Staff/ volunteers are just lovely as well as frightening of course😂 and appreciated all the spooky extras on show this year. As an event it is obviously continuing to develop and gets better. I personally thought it was good value.Looking forward to next year. Well done everyone. Thank you.

Before you make your mind to visit jungle areas, I'm recommended that you should try this train first so it'll cover your few locations easily and you can enjoy your ride as well. Times vary every day. You should chase staff for timing. If you missed one train, then you should wait at least an hour to go back. Price are affordable but a little expensive due to steam engine. You should buy tickets in advance on weekends and public holidays, especially in the summer holidays. Try to book tickets online rather than offline due to voucher monopoly. If you buy offline tickets, then you should buy 5.20£ voucher with a ticket( the voucher price will be added to the ticket price). That voucher you can spend on only buying drinks at stations, nothing else. So, 5.20£ you can save if you book it online for 2 adults.
